...to begin the busiest part of my summer.
I'll be home visiting my sister and parents for about a day, stop in at my best friend's bridal shower (I'll be back in town twice more in the next three weeks for her wedding fun), then I'm off to Camp Esperanza to hang out with a bunch of kids who've had cancer. It's a pretty fantastic experience. But I'm running out of time to finish things before I go.
Okay, I feel convicted now to stop "blogging" and take care of my responsibilities.
Oh, and just an update on my job change from the beginning of summer...the McDaniels' have put an offer on a house and officially placed their own on the market yesterday. I will miss them, but this transistion time has been a blessing from God, and I'm actually ready to say "so long".
Until next week, my friends...
For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

I've had the weirdest dreams...
...for the last week or so. Now, it must be said that weird dreams are no stranger to me. Ask my college roommie, Becky, and she'll tell you how she would pretend to analyze them according to her most recent lecture in Plan II Pysch. Strange dreams don't scare me. I've been known to keep a notepad on my nightstand in case a particularly bizarre night happens upon me.
But this is different.
It's worse.
My dreams are actually coherent. They make sense in reality (most of my "night stories" do not). And I don't like them. I am sleeping pretty well, but waking up worn out. The worst times are when I realize specifics of my dreams throughout the day.
In junior high I thought that I might have the gift of prophesy. The "old" kind of prophesy where I could foretell future events. Let's hope not.
Anyway, all this boils down to the convincing argument that I probably should be seeing a therapist. Not the "you're crazy, and we're going to get you some serious meds" sort of therapist. But the kind that listens to my rambling subconcious so that I don't have to play it out while I'm sleeping.
I'm mean, who doesn't need that?

This weekend, in Oklahoma...
...a dear friend of mine married the second love of her life. This friend is more of a kindred spirit, who has taught me so much about what it is to seek Christ as your first love.
I've never been more of a wreck at a wedding. I was humbled to be a small part of an incredible experience. I am such a proud friend.
My weekend was fantastic beyond belief. A blessed time of relief and rejuvenation.
Praise God for His glorious timing.
